1. What Fluxus is
Fluxus is an experimental, non-custodial payments application built on the Tempo blockchain. It is offered by an individual developer, not a company. This version of the terms is not a binding commercial contract; a governing-law and dispute-resolution clause will be added if and when the project is incorporated. Nothing in these terms affects mandatory consumer rights you hold under the law of the place where you live.
2. Non-custodial wallet
Your wallet is controlled by a passkey stored in your device's secure hardware. Fluxus never holds your funds and never has access to your private keys. If you lose access to your passkey, Fluxus cannot recover your wallet or your funds. You are solely responsible for keeping your device and passkey safe.
3. Blockchain transactions are permanent
Every transfer you confirm is written to the public Tempo blockchain. On-chain transactions are permanent: they cannot be reversed, edited, or deleted, by you or by Fluxus. Text you type into a transfer memo is written to the chain in cleartext and becomes permanently public. Do not put personal or sensitive information in memos. Always check the recipient address and amount before confirming; a payment sent to the wrong address cannot be recalled.
4. Sponsored fees
Network fees for supported operations are currently paid by a fee wallet operated by the project itself, not by a third-party service. Fee sponsorship is provided as a courtesy, may be rate limited, and may change or end at any time without notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Fluxus for unlawful activity, to abuse the fee sponsorship or rate limits, to interfere with the service, or to attempt to access other users' data. The AI assistant and the developer API are provided for legitimate payment workflows only.
6. AI assistant
The optional AI assistant interprets natural-language payment commands. It can misunderstand you. Every payment it prepares requires your explicit confirmation before anything is signed or sent. You are responsible for reviewing each confirmation screen.
7. No warranty, limitation of liability
Fluxus is experimental software provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the same extent, the developer is not liable for lost funds, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from your use of the app, including losses caused by blockchain behaviour, third-party services, or your own transaction errors. Where the law of your country grants you rights that cannot be limited, those rights prevail over this section.
